During the first week we learned:

September 3rd-6th

Week 2

During the second week we learned: 

  • Manner of the week – (Greet everyone cheerfully!)
  • Book “How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World“ By Marjorie Priceman
  • Circle shape 
  • Number’s Book – Draw and count #1 (prefix uni – unicycle, unicorn) – Compare zero items to more than zero (temperatures and money)

September 9th-13th

Week 3

During the third week we learned:

  • Manner of the week (Look people in the eye when you speak to them.)

September 16th-20th

Week 4 

During the fourth week we learned:

  • Book “The Important Book” Discuss the most important thing about a variety of topics. What is the most important thing about ________?
  • What letter do you add to a word to make it plural? 
  • Letter N n
  • Skip Counting 5’s to 100
  • Number’s Book – Draw, Count, and Scrambled #3

  • Biography: Gioachino Rossini “The Barber of Seville: “Overture” 

The Bible Story:

  • Review The Creation Story

Memorize: 

  • Genesis 1:5, “God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.” NKJV

September 23rd-27th

Week 5

During the fifth week we learned:

  • Manner of the week (Listen carefully when others speak.)
  • Book “Frederick by Leo Lion
  • What letter do you add to a word to make it plural? 
  • Letter N n and R r – Cut and paste F f  
  • Skip Counting 5’s to 100
  • Number’s Book – Count and write #9-11 (L.8) Dictate numbers 0-8 

Music: 

  • Biography: Franz Liszt “Liebestraum No.3 in A-Flat Major”  

The Bible Story:

  • Review God Creates Adam and Eve. 

Memorize: 

  • Genesis 2:8, “Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made.” NKJV
